bullets, buckle, thimble
« on: February 07, 2010, 11:55:45 PM »
The old things I have found so far. I use a garret 250 ace. I have been metal detecting for a couple months, and am currently snowed out. No idea on the age of the buckle or thimble, but the bullets seem to be civil warish. I'm not showing the many pounds of old scrap iron and shotgun shells I've found.

All found in Northern Virginia.

Sweet digs Paul, definitely shows you have been working on detecting for sure...  I started with an ace 250 and it is a great machine, you will definitely start pulling some awesome things with it...  Can't wait to get out there in March with you and Jimmy when you come up this way.  Take care man and cool finds again

Nice finds Paul. It has been a couple months since I was able to swing my detector (which is now being repaired). What is the thimble made of?
