Found this also yesterday at my friends place that was farmland until he bought it about 35 years ago, it's about an inch in diameter, made out of white metal I believe and looks like it's been hacked at by some sort of farm machine over the years.
Anyway to me it looks like a cheap trinket of some sorts, but then I know very little about buttons, etc. so your comments will be welcome and appreciated.
