Quick lake side hunt
« on: July 24, 2010, 10:28:54 AM »
I went out for a quick hunt this A.M. along the local swimming hole.I hit the area that is popular with the sun bathers, hoping for some lost bling.Instead I come up with a 1900 Indian head a 1903 V nickel and 2 mercs,a '45 and a '41.This has been a popular spot for a long time, before swimming and sunbathing, they had ice houses along the shore since the early 1700's and cut alot of ice blocks over the years. This lake has alot of potential and my next project will be getting myself an underwater setup,I think  it is safe to assume that this has been a very lightly hunted shore line and I bet no one has ever detected in the lake itself. It's time to start putting in as much overtime as possible so I can set myself up for some water hunting, stay tuned.....
